Sport anglers who charter a boat to access their halibut fishery in Alaska, will have their halibut taken away and then offered back to them, for rent. The National Marine Fisheries Service has proposed a Catch Sharing Plan (CSP) for the guided recreational fishery that needs to be stopped from implementation. A 45 day Comment Period was announced with the publishing of the proposed regulation in the Federal Register on June 28th. Comment Deadline is August 26th! Please click on the following Links to:
